All work uploaded through Google Drive is immediately shared to your Graide Network (usually school) email account. This is an automated feature. If you have a Google-compatible email address, you'll receive immediate access. If your account is not Google-compatible (your school does not use Google Suite), there are a few extra steps described below.
If you are ever not able to access student work, please do not send a request for access or contact the teacher. This will likely cause confusion and does not follow student privacy best practices. Contact our team instead. In most cases, we will be able to share work with you more quickly and more directly than the teacher can.
If your Graide Network email account is not Google-compatible:
When you claim an assignment (if work is already available) or once work is uploaded, you'll receive an email invitation to access student work. If you locate this email, and through the link provided, sign into a Google-compatible account, the work will then be available to you.
If you haven't received these emails, it may be because your school blocks Google's sharing emails. Let us know. In the short term, we can share work with you directly, and if the problem persists, we have some other options.
We know this process isn't the most intuitive, and while there are some limitations to our Google Drive integration that allow us to follow privacy best practices, know that we are working on a solution!
