We love communication! Communicate questions and concerns proactively to save yourself last-minute stress and make sure you're doing really high-quality work for students and teachers.
Communicate with teachers to ensure you understand assignment expectations and to troubleshoot if you have questions about specific pieces of student work.
If you have questions about common assignment issues or best practices for certain circumstances, chances are good someone else has asked before, and you can start by searching this help center for an answer. If you can't find an answer, if your question is unique to your assignment, or if you don't hear from a teacher and need our help, do not hesitate to contact us!
We're a small team, and we wear a lot of hats, but we'll do our best to respond quickly during business hours, 7 days a week during the school year (and Monday-Friday during the summer!). You are not bugging us. We are friendly, and we are not robots. Meet our team!
As with most jobs, we ask that your communication be:
- Professional: No need to be extra formal with us, but communicate honestly and clearly. If you encounter challenges, especially if they impact your ability to complete an assignment on time, let us know.
- Timely: If a teacher or a member of our team sends a message, email, or text that requires or requests a response, please respond as soon as you can. We know you may be busy and do not expect an immediate response, but expect you to be able to respond within 24 hours. Communication regarding revision requests may be more urgent.
